Marlin HEB & Marlin High School joined together again for their 6th Annual Veteran’s Day Program that was held at the Marlin High School Auditorium Friday, November 9, 2018.

This event is held each year to honor Veterans in Marlin and Falls County for their service to our country.

During this event students get an opportunity to learn about the importance of Veteran’s Day and to learn about those in our community that served our country.

Students from MHS AVID, NHS, and FHA participated in the success of this annual program.

The MHS band provided patriotic sounds with tunes like “The Star Spangled Banner” and the “Armed Forces Medley”.

Marlin HEB Manager Mike Sodek was the host of the event and MHS Junior SirCharleston Lee was the Master of Ceremony.

The Veteran’s in attendance were personally recognized and MHS students presented them with red roses.

A Veteran’s Day poem was recited by Brook Chavez.
