Four students in the Auto Collision and Management Technology program at Texas State Technical College have been nationally honored for their academic work.

One of the students who was recognized is Jannifer Stimmel of Marlin. She received a PPG Foundation automotive refinishing scholarship for $5,000. She plans to use the funds to help continue her education.

Stimmel is a 2003 graduate of Marlin High School and is an alumna of Texas Woman’s University.
After graduation, her plan is to go into restoration work and paint her 1973 Volkswagen bus.

She is scheduled to graduate from TSTC in December of 2018.
