Marlin ISD received some encouraging news by email from Region 12 Service Center Friday afternoon. According to Region 12 preliminary test score results Marlin ISD has a good chance of making accountability for the 2017-2018 school year. Preliminary results show that Marlin Junior Academy met state standards and Marlin Elementary missed the state standard by just two points. The Marlin High School campus has met state standard for the past 3 years in a row and it’s looking very positive for a 4th year. According to DR. Michael Seabolt, the scores could be higher once the official results are released in August.
