Whup’s opened in the year of 2000 and Mr. Ben Washington who is the owner/pit master has been consistent with serving quality BBQ every since. Mr. Washington began barbecuing in the early 70’s for family functions and one thing led to another. He worked at Pepsi for 25 years as a truck delivery driver. During his tenure at Pepsi he would barbecue for the company picnics. Those who tasted his product were hooked and people knew they were in for a treat whenever he would barbecue for the event.

Still to this day people become hooked once they get a taste of Whup’s Boomerang BBQ.
