Marlin High School’s Sir Charleston Lee has been awarded a full 4-year scholarship to play football at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) and today he signed his letter of intent.
Marlin High School senior Sir Charleston Lee is quite an impressive young man. Charleston not only excels on the football field but inside the classroom as well. He has a 3.7 GPA and is ranked #4 in his senior class. His teachers and coaches all speak highly of his character and the respect he has for adults.
Charleston is a hard worker all around. He’s worked for T&J Farm (Tim & Jan O’neal ) for three years.
Sir Charleston was a 4-year starter for the Marlin Bulldogs football team playing the running back position. He finished the 2019 season with 1700 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Sir Charleston plans to make full use of his scholarship at SAGU and major in Business Administration.
His parents are Charlette Butler, Shelby Lee, and Daniel Coleman. He is the grandson of Gwendolyn Butler and the Late Charles Butler. His stepdad Daniel Coleman, aunt Lesia Butler, and uncle the Late Anthony Butler, all played a special part in Charleston’s life.
